Tyler's train expedition across the entire country to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday.
A CANADIAN IN
COACH CLASS
IT'S A BIG COUNTRY WITH LOTS TO SEE.
2017 marks the sesquicentennial of Canada, marking 150 years since its Confederation on July 1st, 1867. Most Canadians are gearing up for a massive party this summer, one that's been going on all year long to mark this milestone in Canadian History. This includes free admission to all National Parks, the #Canada150 trend, and best of all, a second round of Roll Up the Rim to Win from Tim Hortons.
Another promotion came earlier this year from Via Rail, the only major passenger rail company in Canada, offering a very limited number of special passes for travel in the summer. If obtained and purchased, the user is granted unlimited travel across all trains for one month. They can go anywhere in the country for as long as they like, so long as it falls in the month of July.
Well I got one. So to mark Canada's birthday, I'm going to see everything in 32 days.

THE PLAN
I'll be using the Via Rail 150 Pass to travel across Canada in one month to see, explore, learn, and discover as much as I can about the country I live in and love. I'll be sharing pictures and videos every day of the trip, and sharing everything on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Duty, Honour, Country
Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what you
ought to be, what you can be, what you will be.
ought to be, what you can be, what you will be.
